Dan Villamil started tinting automobiles & business in 1975, using the flow method. The flow method is a liquid tint and requires a special machine. This process required a lot of preparation of the glass/window, was time consuming and did not leave a wide margin for errors. As the glass was in the process of drying, bugs or dust could easily stick to it, damaging the finished product. Dan has learned the "old school" way of tinting and now keeps up with all of today's modern products as well as techniques. Dan has been in business as a sole proprietor for 7 years in the state of Hawaii before returning "home" to Southern California. Hawaii is where Dan has been specializing in residential and commercial jobs as well as his regular automotive customers. Since opening Window Tints, etc. in Hollywood, Dan strictly does residential and commerical jobs.

Dan's many years of experience and business acumen is the back bone of Window Tints, etc. Dan Villamil is a licensed contractor, a certified installer, a member of theIWFA and a member of the IWFA's Accreditation Program as well as part owner of the Tint Tool Company where he designs & manufactures specialized tools for the glass tinting industry. Currenty these products are sold world wide.

At Window Titns, etc. Dan carries a large selection of window films,vandalism films - for graffiti or "smash & grab", earthquake safety films, baby proofing films, decorative & designer films, ceramic specialty films and your regular Hi-Performance filsm that reduce fading, heat, glare, and U.V. Dan carries everything & anything. If he doesn't have it - they don't make it. Dan's interests outside of his buisness is golf, fishing and relaxing (a much needed item).
